How we work together

What’s the story you need to tell?

When you write, you create a world your audience wants to be welcomed into and participate in.

When we work together, I’ll ask a lot of questions: Why now? Why this format? Why that color/event/time of day? We’ll search for details that go beyond the obvious—details that have become hidden or forgotten, or even previously discarded. We’ll look at them again and see if they open a door for a broader audience.

We’ll leave room to be surprised by what we discover and take detours as time allows. I believe in the power of asking “What if?”, and playing with what we have available. To extend the sewing metaphor, I’m not afraid to cut into an idea and rearrange it a few times to see what we can create.
